Apex Waterloo Place received an extra touch of sparkle recently as Kinky Boots super fan – drag act, Voss – hit the bar to be first in line to try the hotel’s new musical inspired cocktail.

To celebrate the launch of the Edinburgh hotel’s new toe-tapping Kinky Boots package, bar staff at the hotel created the new musical inspired Eden Mill cocktail, with Voss on hand to give her expert opinion.

Voss, who is a self-proclaimed super fan of the hit Broadway show, said, “I love the Kinky Boots show, especially Lola. Any show that has a drag queen saving the day is a hit in my eyes.

“When I heard that the hotel had created a cocktail inspired by the musical, I had to be first in line to try it – wearing my very own ‘kinky boots’ of course. The cocktail is fantastic and I’m sure Lola would approve too.”

Musical fans keen to not only get the best seats in the house, but one of the best rooms in the city, can purchase the new Kinky Boots Theatre Package direct from the Apex Hotels website.

The package includes the special Kinky Boots Eden Mill cocktail upon arrival, three-course dinner, Band ‘A’ Dress Circle seats at the Edinburgh Playhouse and finally bed and breakfast– all for two.

The exclusive Kinky Boots package starts at just £222, with kinky red boots optional. Visit apexhotels.co.uk for more details.
